Health and Safety Policies

New Bedford Folk Festival requires all ticket holders, including children, to provide documentation demonstrating full vaccination against the COVID-19 virus or documentation of a negative COVID-19 test (PCR test within 72 hours or antigen test within 24 hours as administered by a qualified provider, such as a physician, urgent care, pharmacy, or testing site). At-home rapid tests will not be accepted. Photo ID is required for ages 18 and older. Proof of vaccination or a negative test as described above is required for all ages before entering any New Bedford Folk Festival venue. We accept physical vaccination cards as well as clear digital images of vaccination cards on a mobile device.

Patrons are encouraged, but not required, to wear facial coverings at events unless specifically requested by the artist.

Please be advised that these protocols may likely change before your next visit, either more or less restrictive depending on local conditions or artist requirements. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to refer to this page within 72 hours of the event for the latest protocols.

If you are experiencing symptoms or have recently been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please stay at home. Consider gifting your passes to someone you know or donating their value to the non-profit Zeiterion. Passes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged unless the festival is cancelled or postponed.

We appreciate your help in keeping fellow patrons, staff, artists and our community safe!
