Singer-songwriter and recording artist Dori Rubbicco is comfortable crossing musical genres in her writing and performances, bringing jazz, blues, folk and R&B influences to her original compositions and artfully re-imagined covers. Her training as a soulful interpreter of song seeps into her vocal stylings, no matter what genre she might be dipping into when she performs at concerts, clubs and private engagements throughout the Southcoast.

Returning for her fourth year to the Southcoast Stage, Dori will be channeling her Folk and Americana roots by resurrecting a musical collaboration with former bandmates and local favorites Butch McCarthy and Chris Richards. The trio, who recorded four albums together, performed regularly throughout the Southcoast from 2009 to 2014, showcasing their exceptional and effortless three-part harmony and seemingly limitless repertoire. This exclusive reunion performance, also featuring percussionist Dan Schwartz, will feature originals from their albums as well as classic covers featuring those splendid harmonies.

Dori  has recorded and released seven CDs of music with different artists, available for download at dorirubbicco.com. The two most recent releases of her sold-out 2017 and 2018 Stage Door LIVE concerts at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center will be available for sale at the Folk Festival Merch Store. Prior releases can be found on her website, through Whaling City Sound, and streaming on iTunes, Apple Music & Spotify.
