TIPS

PLAN AHEAD

Download a copy of the schedule to bring with you (printed copies are also available at the festival).

Read the performer descriptions on the website and determine priority performances you don’t want to miss.

The best way to assure you have a seat is to get to the performance area early or find seating in the previous performance. The two stages that will be cleared out at the end of each performance for priority seating will be the Whaling Museum/WUMB Stage and the Zeiterion Theatre Stage. The Zeiterion Stage will have reserved seating for Premium Pass seating and the Whaling Museum/WUMB Stage will have reserved Premium Pass seating for a limited time. Consider buying yourself a Premium Pass and benefit from preferred and reserved seating while ensuring the longevity of the Festival.

Don’t limit your music experience.

Don’t restrict yourself to one stage. There are nine stages of music to experience!

Don’t restrict yourself to the performers you already know. Use the festival to discover new music and experience as much music as possible. Workshops present a great opportunity to hear multiple performers and groups!

Please, no cameras or recording devices!

FOLK ON IN COMFORT

Dress comfortably for the weather.

Wear comfortable shoes and be careful on the cobblestone streets..

Wear sun block and a hat.

Stay hydrated!

If you require assistance inquire at the ticket areas in Custom House Square Park and at the Zeiterion Theatre or ask a volunteer.

OFFICIAL FESTIVAL STORE

Buy a T-Shirt. It supports the festival and looks so good on you!

Buy performer CDs. It is a way to help the festival, the performer and take the festival home with you. CDs and t-shirts are sold at the Festival Store located inside of the Zeiterion Theatre.

CRAFT AND FOOD VENDORS

Take time to check out the crafts and commercial vendors. You will find something you like. We take pride in selecting artisans and vendors that offer unique items for everyone’s taste.

Our food court and bar is open to the public. We will have a smorgasbord of food options in our food court along with tables and chairs for comfortable dining while you take in the sounds of the SouthCoast Stage.

Be sure to check out New Bedford’s many delicious restaurants in the area too!

If possible, attend both days. You will see and experience so much more.
